The Lake House

Set within a remarkable lakeside setting near the River Test, this substantial new home has been carefully designed to respond to both its landscape and ecology. We are proud to be delivering the construction of this exceptional project, bringing together high-quality craftsmanship and careful attention to detail throughout.

The house combines a refined palette of weathered steel, flint, zinc and brick, creating a contemporary design that sits comfortably within its surroundings. The site itself has a unique history, having once formed part of the area’s historic watercress beds, adding another layer of character to this special location.

There are regular visits from local wildlife, including deer and kingfishers, and the project also incorporates enhancements to support and enrich the wider habitat. Currently under construction, we look forward to bringing this outstanding home to completion.
