Since withdrawing our original application we have been working tirelessly to draw up a scheme to address the questions raised, this included a pre-app to discuss some of these areas in more detail.
The Weyhill Fair Public House is situated North-West of Andover and has sat empty since January 2023 – we hope to bring life back to the site with nine new households.
Along with advice from consultees and the LPA, we have now submitted a revised scheme for 9 homes. A lot of thought has gone into to the setting, to ensure a more country feel to blend into the landscape, revolving around a more rural ‘farmstead’ concept with a ‘farmhouse’, ‘agricultural workers cottages’ and a ‘barn complex’, all sited around a ‘yard area’.
We look forward to progressing this application with Test Valley Borough Council and hope for a positive outcome in the new year.
