Why not take advantage of the stamp duty holiday brought in my the Government on the 8th July.
If the property is your main home you won’t pay any stamp duty if it costs £500,000 or less – saving you up to £15,000. The next portion (£500,001 to £925,000) will be taxed at 5%.
This can make a huge difference to affordability.
Along with other schemes such a Help to Buy (which ends in March 2021), there is help out there to get you on the ladder, or even a rung up it!
