We are excited to announce that under Permitted Development, we have been granted permission to convert our offices into 8 1-2 bedroom apartments.
Situated in the Renaissance Quarter of Central Eastleigh, the Edwardian building will provide much needed housing to the local community. The national housing shortage is being felt in our local area particularly. We have now started works on the property, and aim to offer these superior conversions to market early 2017.
Being in a prominent position on Leigh Road, the frontage will be tidied to ensure an attractive street scene for the residents and businesses surrounding the property. The building itself will keep all the character of the Edwardian architecture.
We have also submitted an application to go up into the roof. This would change the frontage of the building but be completed sympathetically to the character of the building. It is also in keeping with Eastleigh Borough Councils planning policy for three storey residential developments in the Renaissance quarter, due to the demand for further homes in the Central Eastleigh area.
Although we will be saddened to move on from such an excellent premises & location after having been here for 11 years, we are looking forward to finding and moving to new offices in the near future.
We will keep you updated as the development progresses, and if you are interested in any of our properties then do get in touch.
