Back in July, we announced that three brave members of the Rivendale team — Jason, Becci and Paul — were taking on a challenge well outside their comfort zone: a 100m abseil down Portsmouth’s iconic Spinnaker Tower.
On 5th September, the team finally took the plunge! 😬
Despite a few nerves, wobbly knees and plenty of anticipation, Jason, Becci and Paul made their way down the tower — all in aid of Cash for Kids South Coast, a charity supporting disadvantaged children and young people across our region.
And thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who donated, the team have now raised a fantastic £2,085 — almost double their original £1,050 target 🙌
A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored the team, shared their fundraising efforts or simply cheered them on.
We’re incredibly proud of Jason, Becci and Paul for taking on the challenge and helping raise such a fantastic amount for a brilliant cause ❤️
Well done, Team Rivendale!
