The team have had a busy week at Rivendale HQ, wrapping things up for the Christmas break (excuse the pun!).
We’ve also visited Eastleigh Basics Bank with a food donation and Mission Christmas Cash For Kids with toys and gifts, and had a tour of their depot with the lovely manager, Sam. She talked us through how this year was going and kindly told us some of the stories of how the gifts and money go to use.
For both, this year has been another difficult one. Demand was very high but donations are lower than in previous years, since a lot of the country have been hit hard with the rising cost of living – Mission Christmas are short of gifts and they close TODAY so if you can, please donate:

We have shared our Secret Santa presents and held a raffle – plus our Christmas party is coming up this afternoon! Please note: we will be closing the offices at 2pm and re-opening 2nd January 8:30am.
